Stephenson’s Rocket Locomotive was an early steam locomotive of 0-2-2 wheel arrangement.

Build and learn about the history of Stephenson's Rocket using The Atom Brick mini bricks. The completed set features 2,224 parts and is at a 1:25 scale.

It was designed and constructed in 1829 by George Stephenson and his son Robert for the Rainhill Trials of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway. The Rocket emerged victorious at the Rainhill Trials and worked as a passenger and freight locomotive on various railway lines. The innovative locomotive served as a template for new steam locomotives for the next 150 years.
