A celebrated Scottish Symbol, The Forth Bridge is a cantilevered railway bridge that spans the Firth of Forth estuary. Completed in 1890, the bridge was the world’s first major steel structure.

The Forth Bridge consists of three double cantilever structures, each resting on granite piers with cantilever arms extending off each side. The bridge was constructed with over 53,000 tons of steel and 6.5 million rivets.
